PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SB (Scorched Butts) is a cashew kernel grade made up of broken halves that may be slightly scorched during the roasting or drying process. Despite the darker appearance compared to WB (White Butts), SB cashews maintain the same nutritional value, crunchy texture, and natural buttery taste. They are widely favored for their cost-effectiveness and are ideal for industrial processing and bulk snack production.

KEY FEATURES

• Size: Large broken halves (number of pieces varies by batch, usually fewer pieces per lb compared to splits)

• Color: Light brown to slightly scorched, but uniform

• Texture: Crunchy, creamy, slightly roasted flavor

• Moisture: ≤ 5%

• Defects: Allowed minor scorched marks, within AFI & international standards

• Nutritional Value: Rich in protein, unsaturated fats, vitamins, and essential minerals

• Ideal for roasting, salting, and spicing in snack packs

• Used in bakery, confectionery, and nut-based recipes
